Tour Bus Information at Fisherman's Wharf

There are many loading zones at Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco for tour busses to use for their clients.  In addition to the loading zones, there are metered on-street parking spaces in the Fishewrman's Wharf and PIER 39 area for tour busses. The purpose of these spaces is to give tour buses a place to layover after unloading passengers until passengers are ready to be picked up again.

Summary of the metered tour bus spaces

  • Two-hour time limits
  • Reserved for tour buses only between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (violators can be reported by calling Central Station at 415-553-0123)
  • The spots are approximately 60 feet long
  • The rate is $5 per hour
  • New parking meters that allow payment by coin, SFMTA Parking Cards or with a credit/debit card
  • SFMTA will review occupancy rates periodically to reassess meter rates: the goal is to charge the lowest possible price at the meter to achieve a minimum standard for availability that is necessary for tour bus
