With its marine locale, it's no wonder that many visitors choose to arrive in Fisherman's Wharf by ferry. Fisherman’s Wharf is also the most convenient place to launch an expedition around the Bay--and there is no better way than on a Ferry.

Ferries to and from the East Bay

The Alameda/Oakland Ferry operates ferries from Oakland and Alameda to San Francisco. There are frequent departures from Pier 41 at Fisherman's Wharf and the Ferry Building on The Embarcadero.
