Fleet Week 2018


The Fisherman's Wharf CBD is a sponsor of Fleet Week in San Francisco; a fun-filled week from October 1-8, 2018, where we can give thanks to the men and women who tirelessly serve our nation. The celebration includes a parade of ships along the Bay, an air show featuring the Blue Angels, free ship tours and live entertainment throughout Fisherman's Wharf and San Francisco. 

 Activities include (Subject to Change):

  • An Air Show Starring the Famous Blue Angels

  • Coast Guard Rescue Demonstrations

  • Navy Ship Tours

  • Live Music

  • A Parade of Ships Under the Golden Gate Bridge

Event Locations Include:

The best viewing areas for the Air Show include: Aquatic Park, PIER 39 and the Pier 43 Promenade.

For the sixth consecutive year, the San Francisco Fleet Week Association has scheduled a Veterans Art Exhibit as part of its dynamic event offerings for San Francisco Fleet Week 2018. Under the professional guidance of the prestigious Academy of Art University, the Exhibit is staged in the gallery of the Cannery, Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco.

The annual San Francisco Fleet Week Parade of Ships will take place on Friday, October 5, 2018, when the first US Navy ships enter the San Francisco Bay under the Golden Gate Bridge just before Noon, preceded by the SFFD Fireboat. More information.

When activated, MC CAPE HORN is assigned to the US Navy’s Military Sealift Command (MSC) as one of the Maritime Administrations 31 Roll-on/Roll-off Reserve Force Ships assigned to MSC. She is assigned to the MSC Pacific Strategic Sealift Force and is berthed at Pier 50, San Francisco, CA. in ROS-5 status.
