The Fisherman's Wharf CBD is a sponsor of Fleet Week in San Francisco; a fun-filled week from October 1 - 9, 2017, where we can give thanks to the men and women who tirelessly serve our nation. The celebration includes a parade of ships along the Bay, an air show featuring the Blue Angels, free ship tours and live entertainment throughout Fisherman's Wharf and San Francisco. 

 Activities include:

  • An Air Show Starring the Famous Blue Angels and a 747 Plane
  • Coast Guard Rescue Demonstrations
  • Navy Ship Tours
  • Live Music
  • A Parade of Ships Under the Golden Gate Bridge

Event Locations Include:

The best viewing areas for the Air Show include: Aquatic Park, PIER 39 and the Pier 43 Promenade.

For the fifth consecutive year, the San Francisco Fleet Week Association has scheduled a Veterans Art Exhibit as part of its dynamic event offerings for San Francisco Fleet Week 2017. Under the professional guidance of the prestigious Academy of Art University, the Exhibit is staged in the gallery of the Cannery, Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco.

**The best places for viewing the Italian Heritage Day Parade at Fisherman's Wharf are on Jefferson St. between Powell St. and Leavenworth St. 


Cruise the Bay during Fleet Week:

Bay cruises during the Parade of Ships and the Air Show can be booked with:  Blue and Gold Fleet (www.blueandgoldfleet.com/415-705-8200), Red and White Fleet (www.redandwhite.com/415-673-2900), The SS Jeremiah O'Brien (SSJeremiahObrien.org), the Sport fishing boats: visitfishermanswharf.com as well as many of the sailing cruises at PIER 39.

She is assigned to the MSC Pacific Strategic Sealift Force and is berthed at Pier 50, San Francisco, CA. in ROS-5 status.
