San Francisco’s Italian-American Community celebrates its 149th Italian Heritage Parade, featuring Italian and Italian-American dignitaries, music, performances, floats and representatives of Italian and Italian-American organizations and businesses.
The Fisherman's Wharf CBD is a sponsor of Fleet Week in San Francisco; a fun-filled week where we can give thanks to the men and women who tirelessly serve our nation. La Festa della Madonna del Lume (Mother of the Light) is one of many traditional celebrations Italian immigrants brought to the United States. This particular Festa honors Mary, guardian & patroness of fishermen, with a mass, procession and the ancient ritual of the blessing of the fishing fleet at Fisherman's Wharf.
Witness the skies sparkle red, white and blue as PIER 39 celebrates Independence Day with a day of fun for the whole family! Rock out to live music by WJM on the Entrance Plaza Stage from 1:30-2:15pm, followed by the Bay Area’s favorite cover band Tainted Love – The Best of the 80s Live! from5-8pm. At 9:30pm, look to the sky for the City & County of San Francisco’s spectacular fireworks display. On Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 12 PM to 5 PM, Ghirardelli Square will host the 12th Annual Uncorked Wine Festival. Uncorked is a public event which provides an opportunity to taste, learn and experience wine from throughout Northern California.Activities for the event will take place throughout the courtyards of Ghirardelli Square as well as on Beach Street, adjacent to the Square.
The Fisherman's Wharf Community Benefit District and VIP California are bringing the world's largest onesie party to the Wharf for an unforgettable night of pub crawling. There has been a staggering amount of interest in this date and it will be the biggest gathering of onesies ever seen!
Two of the Wharf's most beloved icons, the Dungeness Crab and the Sea Lion, have just "matched" on a new dating app, Stumble. It's the most wonderful time of the year - MerryTime at Fisherman's Wharf! This year, even the famous Fisherman's Wharf crab wheel gets dressed up in an ugly holiday sweater "yarn bomb." We're planning an ugly sweater holiday pub crawl, having the annual Lighted Boat Parade on December 16th, and once again PIER 39 and Ghirardelli Square unveil their beautifully decorated trees.
Come Celebrate 150 years of emergency response and firefighting in San Francisco with the brave men and women on the SFFD! Live demonstrations of historical horse drawn fire engines from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Historic apparatus and vehicles will be on display.
